Remote Recital April 2021

Got a lot of satisfaction from this layout as it came together quickly, and I immediately used this very small collection of paper as soon as it arrived in my mailbox. It was nice to not contribute immediately to my stash for future use, but instead use it right away. Focusing on using mostly cool colors helped me edit out the distractions.

    1. thx lori! i agree, sometimes a couple sheets of random paper instead of one of the popular collections is so refreshing to use! i have some scraps and one sheet left, hoping to use them to document a trip to Nashville because of the musical notes. i love the soft aqua tones.

    1. thx deanna! i recently purchased some VB color kaleidoscope paper, and didn't even realize i already owned that collection's stencils, so i'm looking forward to working with them together. i find myself reaching for that stencil set more often than others. its really versatile.

    1. i often forget i have the powders, and its so easy to mix with a white base to get any color you want instead of purchasing lots of individual containers. they mix well with texture paste to give some great texture, but i also added some acrylic gel to loosen the media up and make it more pliable to work with.
