I'm about 1/3 done with my album documenting our family vacation to New England last summer. I purchased the Urban Collection with this trip in mind, as we spent time in three cities on this trip: Boston, MA, Portland, ME and Newport, RI. I'm finding that I love this collection so much that I've used almost my entire stash on just the first few pages of the album...... and I haven't finished documenting Boston yet, never mind Portland and Newport! Oh well.
We met my college friends in Boston and joined them for dinner at a local brew pub (the first of what would be many brewery and brew pub stops on this trip). We celebrated the kids' achievements at the end of the school year and their new suburban Boston home. It was a lovely night together with my first and oldest college friends.

Very nice layout. The denim looking background works well with the photos and with the embellishments you chose. I love that cityscape cut-out and the fun title letters. Well done. TFS.
ReplyDeleteThanks jacynthe. The blueprint paper definitely reminds me of denim, too!
DeleteGreat layout. Sounds like an awesome trip! Love all the layering. Thank you for playing along at Scrap our Stash - Gail #stayhealthy #staysafe
ReplyDeleteThx for ur kind words Gail. In the end I probably would have gone without the city scape sticker on the back... there’s something about too much layering... but I just couldn’t seem to stop myself!🤣
DeleteTotally fab page. Fantastic work & stash use. Thanks for your challenge entry at Scrap Our Stash.
ReplyDeleteThx Rachelle! I try to dig into my stash every chance i get.
DeleteI really like the orange and blue combination. Thanks for joining us at Scrap Our Stash.
ReplyDeleteThx for noticing Chris, Yes, the orange was a very last minute decision to add the Pink Paisley Horizon, and it really made everything pop. So glad i took the chance.

ReplyDeleteThis is such a pretty layout! I love the colors you have used and that title made from those little tags is too cute! Thanks so much for sharing with us at Scrap Our Stash! -Lori DT
ReplyDeleteThx Lori. I love those little tags too and they are so old I have no idea where they came from.... and unfortunately there's so few letters left at this point I would be better off using them for a double letter score in a scrabble game as all there's left are the alpha rejects like 'Q' and 'X'! :)
DeleteBeautiful layout ... I really love the background paper that you choose and the way the title cascades across the layout to meet up with the embellishments! Thanks so much for joining us for this month's challenge at Scrap Our Stash!!! -- Karen Y.
ReplyDeletethx for your kind words, Karen!
